WIGUT LOAN PROCEDURES

There has been a revision in the application process to access the WIGUT (Jamaica) Loan

the steps to follow are as listed below:

1. Staff member requests job letter from the HRMD (Customer Service desk). This letter verifies employment status, and will be provided within 48 hours.
2. Staff member submits completed application form, along with job letter and three last payslips to EduCom Co-operative Credit Union. Payslips will confirm that WIGUT dues are being paid.
3. Credit Union verifies if there is an existing loan balance, in keeping with the policy.
4. Credit Union processes the loan once all documents have been provided and verified.
5. Exceptions are referred to the Loans Committee and are discussed during the scheduled meeting.
